Cargill restructures its upper management in META region

Flour producer and exporter Cargill is making structural changes to its upper management and announcing six new appointments in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region.

Cargill is transforming and strengthening its global organizational structure to provide comprehensive and innovative solutions to its customers. In parallel with this, six executive appointments are being made in the META region.
Cargill, which is committed to increasing the ratio of women in leadership positions globally to 50% by 2030, emphasized in the announcement that they have moved a step closer to this goal with these appointments.

According to the announcement; Banu Öksün has been appointed as the Portfolio Director of the Alternative Meats and Dairy Group, Sonat Akat as the META Edible Oils Product Group Director, Tuba Çetin as the Head of the META Legal Department, Ayşe Arslan as the META Finance Director, Cem Beysel as the META Starch, Sweeteners and Texturizers Product Group and Sustainability Director, and Demokan Konyalıgil as the META Public Administration and External Communication Director.

Murat Tarakçıoğlu, Chairman and CEO of META, said, “Our vision for the future is to take Cargill beyond being a component supplier.
