Flour producer and exporter Pakun has won the European Flavour and Quality Award for its Durgun brand flour.
In the taste evaluation conducted by the Belgium-based International Taste Institute by the world’s leading chefs and sommeliers, Pakun’s ‘Durgun’ brand pastry and bakery flour was deemed worthy of the European Flavour and Quality Award and was entitled to receive the ‘Superior Taste Award’ certificate.
Commenting on the award, Pakun Chairman Niyazi Durgun said, “We are proud to be rewarded for our 50 years of work. The fact that our Durgun brand flour has been approved by the world’s leading chefs and tasters is an important gain for all of us in promoting the rich flavours of Turkish cuisine”.

By winning the Superior Taste Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the food industry, Pakun’s Durgun brand flavour has been confirmed in the international arena. Noting that they have never compromised on quality and taste for half a century, Pakun Chairman Niyazi Durgun said, “We are proud to be rewarded for our 50 years of work.
