BBM • AUGUST - AĞUSTOS 2023 10 NEWS HABER Following the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, Puratos Turkey continues its support with the ‘Puratos Turkey Bread and Pastry Industry Reconstruction Fund’ that it has launched. Applications to the fund created for local bread and pastry businesses in the earthquake- affected regions to stand up again will continue until July 31. Bora Akın, General Manager of Puratos Turkey, high- lighted the importance of the spirit of solidarity shown as a nation in the difficult days following the earthquakes, and said: “As Puratos Turkey, we have been a part of this solidar- ity since the first day of the earthquake. With the support of the Puratos Group to which we belong, we allocated re- sources to bread and pastry businesses in the earthquake region with the donations collected in the ‘Puratos Turkey Bread and Pastry Industry Reconstruction Fund’ that we have launched. Because businesses in this region need to purchase new equipment in order to go into production. Moreover, the reopening of all businesses is very important both for access to food and in terms of employment. Deprem mağduru işletmelere ekipman desteği Puratos Türkiye, hayata geçirdiği ‘Puratos Türkiye Ek- mekçilik ve Pastacılık Sektörü Yeniden Yapılanma Fonu’ ile deprem bölgesindeki işletmelerinin ayağa kalkıp ye- niden üretim yapabilmesi için gerekli ekipmanları sağla- mak üzere kaynak ayırıyor. Puratos Türkiye, 6 Şubat’ta yaşanan Kahramanmaraş mer- kezli depremlerin ardından, sürdürdüğü desteğini, hayata geçirdiği ‘Puratos Türkiye Ekmekçilik ve Pastacılık Sektörü Yeniden Yapılanma Fonu’ ile sürdürüyor. Depremden etkile- nen bölgelerdeki yerel ekmekçilik ve pastacılık işletmelerinin yeniden ayağa kalkması için oluşturulan fona başvurular 31 Temmuz’a kadar sürecek. Puratos Türkiye Genel Müdürü Bora Akın, depremler sonra- sında yaşanan zor günlerde ulus olarak gösterilen dayanışma ruhunun önemine dikkat çekerek şunları söyledi: “Puratos Tür- kiye olarak depremin ilk gününden itibaren biz de bu dayanış- manın bir parçası olduk. Bağlı olduğumuz Puratos Grubu’nun desteğiyle hayata geçirdiğimiz ‘Puratos Türkiye Ekmekçilik ve Pastacılık Sektörü Yeniden Yapılanma Fonu’nda toplanan bağışlarla, deprem bölgesindeki ekmekçilik ve pastacılık iş- letmelerine kaynak ayırdık. Çünkü bu bölgedeki işletmelerin üretime geçebilmesi için yeni ekipman almaları gerekli. Ayrıca tüm işletmelerin tekrar açılması, hem gıdaya erişim hem de is- tihdam açısından çok önemli. Bölgedeki hayatın normale dö- nebilmesi ve bunun sürdürülebilir olması için bizler elimizden geleni yapmaya bundan sonra da devam edeceğiz.” Bora Akın
