The General Manager of TMO, who visited Konya and conducted on-site inspections, said, “In a fruitful year of 2023, TMO is experiencing its highest purchase period in his- tory. We can store over 200,000 tons of product daily in TMO warehouses across Turkey. Specifically looking at Konya, it’s about 50,000 tons per day. That is, we get a quarter of the total from Konya. There are 82 purchase points in Konya.” Güldal, emphasized that the maximum daily purchase was between 110-120 thousand tons in past years. “We made a re- cord purchase with 212,000 tons of product on Thursday, July 20. TMO has purchased and stored 4.5 million tons of products from the start of the harvest across Turkey. Also, the producer’s 4.8 million tons of crops have been registered in the appointment system for sale. 335,000 producers have made appointments to deliver 4.8 million tons of crops,” Güldal noted. Ahmet Güldal, stated that they will continue to buy all the prod- ucts registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) if they are offered. “There has long been talk of the narrowing of wheat fields and the desire for them to expand. For the first time, with last year’s planting and this year’s harvest, it exceeded 7 million hect- ares. Therefore, a significant harvest has taken place as a result of this positive pricing. The balanced and stable rains in March, April, and May also had a positive impact on the crops, which perhaps means that TMO and the Republic are experiencing the most fruitful harvest period in their history,” he said. Ülke genelinde hasat sezonunun yarısının tamamlandığını belirten TMO Genel Müdürü Ahmet Güldal, alım kampanya- sının yoğun şekilde devam ettiğini söyledi. Konya’yı ziyaret ederek yerinde incelemelerde bulunan TMO Genel Müdürü, “2023 yılı bereketli, mahsulün olduğu bir yılda TMO, tarihinin en yüksek alım dönemini yaşıyor. Türkiye genelinde günlük 200 bin tonun üzerinde ürünü TMO depolarına koyabiliyoruz. Konya için baktığımızda da günlük aşağı yukarı 50 bin ton civa- rında. Türkiye genelinin 4’te 1’ini Konya’dan alıyoruz. Konya’da 82 alım noktası var” dedi. Geçmiş yıllarda günlük en fazla 110-120 bin ton aralığında alım yapıldığını vurgulayan Güldal, “20 Temmuz Perşembe günü 212 bin ton ürünle rekor alım yapmış olduk. TMO, Türkiye genelin- de hasadın başladığı günden bugüne kadar da 4.5 milyon ton ürünü almış ve depolarına koymuş durumda. Ayrıca üreticinin 4 milyon 800 bin tonluk mahsulü satış için randevu sisteminde tanımlanmış durumda. 335 bin üretici, 4,8 milyon ton mahsulü vermek üzere randevu almış durumda” değerlendirmesini yaptı. Çiftçi Kayıt Sistemi’ne (ÇKS) kayıtlı ürünlerin arz edilmesi halin- de tamamını sonuna kadar almaya devam edeceklerini belirten TMO Genel Müdürü Ahmet Güldal, “Uzun yıllardır buğday alan- larının daralmasından bahsedilir ve genişlemesi istenir. İlk defa geçen seneki ekimlerle bu seneki hasadımız 7 milyon hektarın üzerine çıktı. Dolayısıyla bu pozitif fiyatlandırma sonucunda da ciddi bir hasat gerçekleşmiş oldu. Mart, nisan ve mayıs ayların- da gelen yağışların dengeli, istikrarlı olması mahsule de olumlu yansıması sonucunda belki de TMO ve Cumhuriyet tarihinin en bereketli hasat dönemini yaşıyoruz” dedi.
