It will bring together local manufacturers who establish modern production facilities with high energy efficiency through innovative technologies, investors looking to establish new facili- ties, and producers aiming to expand the capacities of their exist- ing facilities. IDMA, which will gather 10,000 professionals from 120 countries in Istanbul, will also keep the pulse of the global grain industry with the 5th International TABADER Summit it hosts. With the motto “The international fair of grain and feed milling in- dustry,” IDMA Istanbul will bring together 10,000 professional visi- tors from 120 countries, including Turkey, European Union coun- tries, MENA countries, and the United States, with 300 brands. TABADER SUMMIT: INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY, AND THE FUTURE The TABADER Summit, now in its fifth year, will host key representatives of the industry from Turkey and around the world with special agendas and sessions. The summit, where different topics such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, techno- logical advancements, and the future of milling will be discussed by internationally renowned experts in four sessions, will ad- dress not only the technological dimension of the global grain industry and production techniques but also theeconomic, logistical, and social aspects. The special session of the summit will focus on “Women in Milling.” IDMA, the industry’s first and only ex- hibition in Turkey and the largest in the world, will open its doors in Istanbul with a target of $500 mil- lion in exports. Muhammet Ali Kalkan, the Chairman of the Board of HAGE Group, the organizer of IDMA fairs, which has become the biggest gatherings of the industry worldwide with its successful interna- tional exhibitions in the grain, pulses, and feed processing industry, stated, “The food issue, among the most important global agen- das, has led countries to focus on agricultural investments once again. In today’s world, where it is of strategic importance to pro- cess and store agricultural products alongside increasing produc- tion, demand for agricultural machinery and production technolo- gies is increasing day by day. Considering the expected increase in the protein needs of the rapidly growing population, humanity’s connection with grains and pulses, which are important protein sources, will increase even more with the global climate crisis and droughts. Another prominent issue alongside agricultural produc- tion is the processing of products into goods. TABADER7DEN YAPAY ZEKA VE DEĞİRMENCİLİĞİ ZİRVESİ Bu yıl beşincisi yapılacak olan TABADER Zirvesi, özel gündem ve oturumlarla sek- törün Türkiye ve dünyadaki önemli temsil- cilerini ağırlayacak. Dört oturumda dijital- leşme, yapay zeka, teknolojik gelişmeler, değirmenciliğin geleceği gibi farklı konula- rın dünyaca tanınmış uzmanlar tarafından tartışılacağı zirve; dünya tahıl endüstrisi ve üretim tekniklerinin teknolojik boyutunun yanı sıra ekonomik, lojistik ve sosyal boyu- tu ele alınacak. Zirvenin özel oturumu ise “Değirmencilikte Kadın” konusu olacak. İDMA İSTANBUL’DA HEDEF 500 MİLYON DOLAR İHRACAT Tahıl, bakliyat ve yem işleme endüstri- sinde düzenlediği başarılı uluslararası fuar- larla sektörün dünyadaki en büyük buluşmalarına imza atan İDMA Fuarlarının organizatörü HAGE Grup Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Muhammet Ali Kalkan, “Dünyanın en önemli gündem konuları arasında yer alan gıda sorunu, ülkelerin tekrar tarım yatırımlarına yönelmesine neden oldu. Üretimi artırmakla bir- likte tarımsal mamullerin işlenmesi ve depolanmasının da stra- tejik öneme sahip olduğu günümüzde, özellikle tarım maki- neleri ve üretim teknolojilerine olan talep her geçen gün artış gösteriyor. Hızla artan nüfusun protein ihtiyacının yükselmesi beklendiği göz önüne alındığında, küresel iklim krizi ve ku- raklıklarla mücadele eden insanlığın önemli protein kaynağı tahıl ve bakliyat ürünleriyle olan bağı daha da artacak. Tarım- sal üretim kadar öne çıkan diğer bir konu ise mamullerin işle- nerek ürüne dönüştürülmesi. Önümüzdeki dönemde özellikle nüfus artış hızının yüksek olduğu bölgelerde yem, tahıl, bakli- yat, un ve unlu mamullere olan talebin artması beklenmekte.
