BBM • AUGUST - AĞUSTOS 2024 20 NEWS HABER Pakun, Turkey’s established flour producer and exporter, climbed 61 spots from the previous year to rank 158th on the “Türkiye’s Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises-2023” list, prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), with production-based sales of 2,177,934,736 TRY. With net sales of 3,844,138,930 TRY, Pakun secured the 22nd spot in this category and became the 89th company with the highest export revenue, earning 55,743,000 dollars. Niyazi Durgun, Chairman of the Board of Pakun, empha- sized that Pakun, having successfully completed the chal- lenging year of 2023 for all world economies, once again demonstrated its contribution to Türkiye’s economy, ex- ports, and employment with its performance on the ISO- Turkey’s Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises-2023 list. Expressing their satisfaction with Pakun’s ranking as the 89th company with the highest export revenue at 55.74 mil- lion liras, Durgun stated, “We are the 7th largest flour ex- porter in Turkey. We export 70% of our annual sales to in- ternational markets. Our goal for this year is to achieve 100 million dollars in exports.” Pakun also made a notable achievement by entering the Fortune 500 Turkey 2023 list, which ranks Turkey’s larg- est 500 companies, at the 478th position with net sales of 3,844,138,930 TRY and a growth rate of 93.9% compared to the previous year. Pakun Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Niyazi Durgun, tüm dünya ekonomileri açısından zorlu bir yıl olan 2023’ü başarıyla ta- mamlayan Pakun’un Türkiye ekonomisine, ihracatına ve istih- damına sunduğu katkıyı İSO-Türkiye’nin İkinci 500 Büyük Sa- nayi Kuruluşu-2023 listesindeki performansıyla bir kez daha ortaya koyduğunu vurguladı. Pakun’un 55,74 milyon liralık ihracat geliriyle listenin en çok ihracat yapan şirketleri arasında 89’uncu sırada yer al- mış olmasından ayrıca memnuniyet duyduklarını ifade eden Durgun, “Türkiye’nin en çok un ihracatı gerçekleştiren 7’nci şirketiyiz. Yıllık satışların yüzde 70’ini dış pazarlara gerçekleş- tiriyoruz. Hedefimiz bu yıl 100 milyon dolar ihracat gerçekleş- tirmek” diye konuştu. Türkiye’nin en büyük 500 şirketinin sıralandığı Fortune 500 Türkiye 2003 listesine ise 3 milyar 844 milyon 138 bin 930 TL’lik net satış ve bir önceki yıla göre yüzde 93,9 büyüme ora- nıyla 478’inci sıradan girerek yeni bir başarıya imza attı.
