Two projects developed through a collaboration between Tellioğlu Un and Balıkesir University have also qualified for sup- port under TÜBİTAK’s 1505 University–Industry Cooperation Support Program. The projects aim to utilize by-products gen- erated during food production, develop protein-enriched flours and flour blends, and produce innovative breads containing functional ingredients. The first project will be led by Associate Professor Fatma Korkmaz, while the second will be conducted under the leader- ship of Assistant Professor Yavuz Yüksel. Nuri Serdar Gündoğan, R&D Manager at Tellioğlu Un, will oversee both projects on be- half of the company. Meeting all the energy needs of its production operations through solar power, the company exports its products to more than 40 countries with its robust production infrastructure and quality-oriented approach. Buse Tellioğlu Altındiş, Vice Chair of the Board of Tellioğlu Un, said the R&D center and TÜBİTAK- supported projects hold an important place in the company’s vision for the future. Altındiş noted that university–industry coop- eration, renewable energy investments and export activities are key pillars of the company’s sustainable growth objectives. Tellioğlu Un becomes a Ministry-approved R&D Center Balıkesir-based Tellioğlu Un has strengthened its innova- tive activities in flour and bakery products with its R&D Center approved by theMinistry of Industry and Technol- ogy. The company has become the only flour producer in Balıkesir to operate an R&D center. Tellioğlu Un, Bakanlık onaylı AR-GE Merkezi oldu Balıkesir merkezli Tellioğlu Un, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Ba- kanlığı tarafından onaylanan AR-GE Merkezi ile un ve unlu mamuller alanındaki yenilikçi çalışmalarını güçlen- dirdi. Şirket, Balıkesir’de AR-GE merkezine sahip tek un üreticisi oldu. Tellioğlu Yem-Gıda Entegre Tesisleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren merkez; yenilikçi ürün geliştir- me, kalite iyileştirme, fonksiyonel gıda teknolojileri, sürdü- rülebilir üretim ve katma değerli ürünler üzerine çalışmalar yürütecek. Tellioğlu Un ile Balıkesir Üniversitesi iş birliğinde hazırlanan iki proje de TÜBİTAK 1505 Üniversite-Sanayi İş Birliği Destek Programı kapsamında desteklenmeye hak kazandı. Projeler- de, gıda üretim süreçlerinde ortaya çıkan yan ürünlerin de- ğerlendirilmesi, protein açısından zenginleştirilmiş un ve un mikslerinin geliştirilmesi, fonksiyonel bileşenler içeren yenilik- çi ekmeklerin üretilmesi hedefleniyor. Projelerden ilki Doç. Dr. Fatma Korkmaz, ikincisi ise Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Yavuz Yüksel yürütücülüğünde gerçekleştirilecek. Tel- lioğlu Un adına proje sorumluluğunu AR-GE Sorumlusu Nuri Serdar Gündoğan üstlenecek. Üretimde kullandığı enerjinin tamamını güneş enerjisinden karşılayan şirket, güçlü üretim altyapısı ve kalite odaklı yakla- şımıyla ürünlerini 40’tan fazla ülkeye ihraç ediyor. Tellioğlu Un Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Vekili Buse Tellioğlu Altındiş, AR-GE merkezi yapılanması ile TÜBİTAK destekli projelerin şirketin gelecek vizyonunda önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu belirtti. Altındiş, üniversite-sanayi iş birlikleri, yenilenebilir enerji yatı- rımları ve ihracat çalışmalarının sürdürülebilir büyüme hedef- lerinin temel unsurları olduğunu ifade etti.
