BBM • SEPTEMBER - EYLÜL 2023 78 lendiğini göz önünde bulundurursak, küresel iklim değişiklik- leri ve kuraklıklarla mücadele eden insanlığın, önemli protein kaynağı tahıl ve bakliyat üretimine olan bağlılığının artacağını söyleyebiliriz. Tarımsal üretim kadar önemli diğer bir konu ise, üretilen emtiaların ekonomiye kazandırılması ve tüketiciye ulaştırıl- ması. Bu bağlamda ülkelerin ihtiyaç duydukları tahıl ürünlerini kendi sınırları içerisinde depolayabilmesinin ve üretebilmesi- nin önemini hep birlikte deneyimledik. Temel gıda ihtiyacının başında gelen ve uzun süre depolanabilen tahıl ve bakliyat ürünlerini nihai tüketicinin kullanabileceği hale dönüştüren önemli bir sektörde faaliyet gösteriyoruz. İDMA’nın sadece ticari bir fuar olmadığının, aynı zamanda gıda güvenliğine ve gıda erişimine hizmet ettiğinin altını çiz- mek isterim. Fuarlarımızla eşzamanlı olarak düzenlediğimiz ve sektörün kanaat önderlerini bir araya getirdiğimiz Tahıl, Bakli- yat ve Yem Zirveleriyle sürdürülebilir üretim, gıda güvenliği ve erişilebilirlik konularına farkındalık yaratmaya çalışıyoruz. Dü- zenlendiği yıllar boyunca üretici ile yatırımcı arasında kurduğu köprülerle sektörün dünyaya açılan kapısı olan İDMA fuarları, aynı zamanda ülkelerin gıda güvenliğine ve erişimine hizmet ediyor. Bu bağlamda uzun yıllardır sektöre Türkiye’de hiz- met veren İDMA markasını artık dünyanın önemli bölgelerine taşıyoruz. İDMA Rusya ile başladığımız açılıma, Güneydoğu Asya’nın önemli ülkesi Endonezya ile devam edeceğiz. 4-6 Ekim 2023 tarihlerinde Endonezya Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası ile birlikte başkent Cakarta’da gerçekleştireceğimiz İDMA dependence on the production of cereals and pulses, which are important sources of protein. Just as important as agricultural production is the econo- mization of the commodities produced and their transporta- tion to consumers. In this context, we have all experienced to- gether the crucial importance of countries being able to store and produce the grain products they need within their own borders. We are operating in an important sector that trans- forms grain and pulses products, which are one of the most important basic food needs and can be stored for a long time, into products that can be used by the end consumer. I would like to underline that IDMA is not only a trade show, but also serves food safety and food access. We try to raise awareness on sustainable production, food safety and accessibility with the Grain, Pulses and Feed Summits, which we organize simultaneously with our fairs and bring together the opinion leaders of the sector. IDMA fairs, which have been the gateway of the sector to the world with the bridges it has built between producers and investors over the years, also serve the food security and accessibility of countries. In this context, we are now taking the IDMA brand, which has been suppoting the industry in Turkey for many years, to important regions of the world. The expansion we started with IDMA Russia will continue with Indonesia, the key country of Southeast Asia.
