With record-high reserves, the Turkish Grain Board is a pillar of confidence for the sector. Against this backdrop, we engaged in a conversation with Hüseyin Emre Tekbaş, Chairman of the Association of Central Anatolian Flour Industrial- ists. Serving concurrently as the Vice President of the Turkish Flour Indus- trialists Federation (TUSAF), Tekbaş highlighted Konya’s potential in wheat production, underscored the significance of the flour industry, and shared insights on press- ing industry topics. Here are the responses from Mr. Tekbaş to our inquiries: What are your expectations for the wheat yield in Turkey and the Konya Plain this year? How will this affect the flour industry?
