Konya, known as Türkiye’s grain warehouse, is preparing to host one of the sector’s most important gath- erings. The “Pre-Harvest Grain Con- gress,” which has become a tradition- al event organized by the National Grain Council (UHK), is gaining even greater significance this year with the participation of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı. The congress, which will begin on April 3, will serve as the highest-level platform where expectations for the 2026 harvest season, yield forecasts, and market balances will be evalu- ated. In his opening speech, Minister İbrahim Yumaklı is expected to de- liver important messages regarding agricultural support models, planned production strategies, and the overall policies of intervention institutions in the grain market, particularly the Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO). Throughout the summit, where the impact of climate change and global economic fluctuations on grain produc- tion will be addressed, several key topics will be discussed through panels and sessions. These include regional yield projections for the 2026 production season, access to fi- nance and production costs, licensed warehousing and logistics infrastructure, seed technologies, and sustainable agricultural practices. At the congress, Ahmet Güldal, General Manager of the Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO), will deliver a presentation outlining the institution’s stock management and prepara- tions for the upcoming harvest season. The final declaration to be issued at the congress—considered vital for maintain- ing stability in grain prices and ensuring food supply security ahead of the harvest—will shape the sector’s roadmap for 2026. A critical pre-harvest grain summit with the participation of Minister Yumaklı The “2026 Pre-Harvest Grain Congress,” organized by the Ulusal Hububat Konseyi (UHK), will be held in Konya between April 3–5. At the summit, which will take place with the participation of Minister of Agriculture and For- estry İbrahim Yumaklı, global food supply dynamics and Türkiye’s 2026 harvest projections will be discussed. Bakan Yumaklı’nın katılımıyla hasat öncesi kritik hububat zirvesi Ulusal Hububat Konseyi (UHK) tarafından düzenlenen “2026 Hasat Öncesi Hububat Kongresi”, 3-5 Nisan ta- rihleri arasında Konya’da gerçekleştirilecek. Tarım ve Orman Bakanı İbrahim Yumaklı’nın katılımıyla düzenlene- cek zirvede, küresel gıda arzı ve Türkiye’nin 2026 yılı hasat projeksiyonu masaya yatırılacak. Türkiye’nin tahıl ambarı Konya, sek- törün en önemli buluşmalarından biri- ne ev sahipliği yapmaya hazırlanıyor. Ulusal Hububat Konseyi’nin (UHK) geleneksel hale getirdiği “Hasat Ön- cesi Hububat Kongresi”, bu yıl Tarım ve Orman Bakanı İbrahim Yumaklı’nın katılımıyla daha da kritik bir önem ka- zanıyor. 3 Nisan’da başlayacak olan kongre, 2026 yılı hasat dönemine dair bek- lentilerin, rekolte tahminlerinin ve pi- yasa dengelerinin belirlendiği en üst düzey platform olacak. Bakan İbra- him Yumaklı’nın açılış konuşmasında; tarımsal destekleme modelleri, planlı üretim stratejileri ve hububat piyasa- sına yönelik müdahale kurumlarının (TMO) genel politikaları hakkında önemli mesajlar vermesi bekleniyor. İklim değişikliği ve küresel ekonomik dalgalanmaların hu- bubat üretimindeki öneminin masaya yatırılacağı zirve bo- yunca, 2026 üretim sezonu bölgesel rekolte öngörüleri, Fi- nansmana erişim ve üretim maliyetleri, Lisanslı depoculuk ve lojistik altyapı, Tohumculuk teknolojileri ve sürdürülebilir tarım teknikleri gibi konu başlıkları panel ve oturumlarla tartışılacak. Kongrede, Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO) Genel Müdürü Ah- met Güldal’ın yapacağı sunumla, kurumun stok yönetimi ve yeni hasat dönemine yönelik hazırlıkları katılımcılarla paylaşıla- cak. Hasat öncesinde hububat fiyatlarında istikrar ve gıda arz güvenliği açısından hayati önem taşıyan kongreden çıkacak sonuç bildirgesi, sektörün 2026 yılı yol haritasını oluşturacak.
