Yet we also witnessed happy mo- ments that touched our hearts. People found alive among the debris days after the earthquake or mothers and children reunit- ing in good health brought us consolation to a certain extent. While struggling within such complex emotions, we, at Yıldız Holding, also experienced a happy development that made us proud. As you may have already guessed, I mean the develop- ment of Ülker Nutritious Biscuits. Thanks to this development, I have once again personally witnessed how long-established corporations that work like a clock can be resilient enough to take rapid actions during crisis and difficulties. Normally, the development of a new product lasts six months in average, with a long process from R&D to produc- tion. However, we developed Ülker Nutritious Biscuits in just four days. These biscuits are not for sale and are delivered to the earthquake-hit region free of charge. Böylesine karmaşık duygular içindeyken, bizim cephemiz- de küçük de olsa mutluluk veren, hepimiz için iftihar vesilesi olan bir olay yaşadık. Tahmin edeceğiniz gibi, Ülker Besleyici Bisküvi’nin geliştirilme hikâyesinden bahsediyorum. Bu olay sayesinde, köklü bir geçmişe sahip olan ve saat gibi çalışan kurumsal yapıların krizler ve zorluklar karşısında nasıl çok daha dirençli olabildiklerine ve hızlı aksiyon alabildiklerine bir kez daha şahit oldum.
