Therefore, under the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture, we should make the most efficient use of each square meter of land with le- gal regulations if necessary. The second one is technology. We need to bring technol- ogy together with the soil. At this point, we need to make use of our universities, research institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture and agricultural engineers. Which seed should be used in which region? How can we use pesticides and fertilizers more effectively? Under what conditions should we do irrigation? We should provide this information to our farmers. Today, spraying and fertilization are done with drones in the world. We should mobilize all the tools offered by technology to increase production. “BUĞDAYDA 32 MİLYON TON REKOLTE HAYAL DEĞİL” Siz birçok konuşmanızda, “Buğday üretimimizi, potansiyelimiz ölçüsünde artırabilirsek, kendi buğ- dayımızla dünya un ihracat şampiyonu olabiliriz.” dediniz. Türkiye’nin buğday üretim potansiyelini kaç milyon ton olarak görüyorsunuz? Ve bu potan- siyeli gerçekleştirmek için neler yapılmalı? Ben bu konuyu üç ana başlıkta değerlendirmek istiyorum: Birincisi, insan kaynağı ve toprak. İkincisi, teknolojik dönü- şüm. Üçüncüsü de üretim ve pazarlama. Öncelikle, mevcut ekilebilir topraklarımızda üretimi çok iyi planlamamız lazım. Öngörülebilir bir üretim gerçekleştirmemiz lazım. Bir planlama dahilinde ekim alanlarımızın sınıflandırılması gerekiyor. Çünkü rekabet gücü oradan başlıyor. Küçük arazilerdeki verim ile büyük arazilerdeki verim bir olmuyor.
