With the ut- most care, they place bags of the healthy snacks into boxes. Visitors will have an opportunity to experience this state- of-the-art development at the Gerhard Schubert stand at Automatica, where the company will be exhibiting for the first time. Two tog.519 cobots will be demonstrating several application scenarios for food and cosmetics at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Hall B5, Stand 530. Schubert achieved a technologically significant engineer- ing feat for pick & place applications with its tog.519. The agile and extremely versatile machine from Crailsheim picks products at up to 90 cycles per minute – faster than any other solution on the market. What enables this is a concept that seamlessly integrates robotics and image processing into a complete system. “It gives the cobot great flexibility and mobility,” explains Hannes Häusler, Head of the Cobot Division at Schubert. Schubert Showcases Its Technological Strength at Automatica Trade fair premieres have always been something special. Schubert’s first attendance at Automatica (24 to 27 June) is also marked by groundbreaking tech- nology. The autonomous tog.519 cobot, developed in- house in Crailsheim, impressively demonstrates how outstanding versatility and performance can be com- bined thanks to a fully integrated system. İnsan, neredeyse robotların da bazı tüketiciler kadar elma cipsine düşkün olduğunu düşünebilir. Cobot’lar, sağlıklı atış- tırmalıkların bulunduğu paketleri büyük bir özenle kutulara yerleştiriyor. Bu son teknoloji gelişmeyi ziyaretçiler, Gerhard Schubert’in Automatica’daki standında bizzat deneyimleyebi- lecek. Şirketin ilk kez katıldığı fuarda, iki adet tog.519 cobot, Münih Fuar Merkezi B5 Salonu, 530 numaralı stantta gıda ve kozmetik sektörlerine yönelik çeşitli uygulama senaryolarını sergileyecek. Schubert, tog.519 ile pick & place uygulamaları için tekno- lojik açıdan önemli bir mühendislik başarısına imza attı. Crails- heim menşeli bu çevik ve son derece çok yönlü makine, da- kikada 90 çevrime kadar ürün toplayabiliyor – bu, piyasadaki diğer tüm çözümlerden daha hızlı. Bunu mümkün kılan ise ro- botik ve görüntü işlemenin eksiksiz bir sistem olarak kusursuz bir şekilde entegre edildiği bir konsept. As dem- onstrated at the trade fair, thanks to AI-based image recognition, the co- bot ‘recognises’ different objects and reliably masters the task of picking unsorted items from a disorganised pile. Even the complex challenge of ‘uprighting’ and depositing empty bottles into pucks is handled by the Crailsheim-based innovation thanks to ingenious vision technology, which Schubert combines with patented five-axis SCARA kinematics. “The camera system and robot were both developed in-house and they work together seamlessly. This integration makes our solution truly unique on the market,” explains Häusler. Thanks to the AI-supported vision system, the otherwise very time-consuming pro- gramming of image recognition using algorithms is no longer necessary. As a result, the system can be operated without in-depth IT knowledge – and not just for apple chips! Thanks to advanced camera tech- nology, the tog.519 can be used in a wide range of industries. These cam- eras are able to independently iden- tify an entirely new product within a very short time. The cobot can reliably pick up food items as well as technical articles such as glue sticks, pump dis- pensers and many more. This is especially advantageous for co-packers who deal with changing products from mul- tiple sectors. But manufacturers from dedicated industries with diverse portfolios also greatly benefit from the tog.519’s quick format changes: “Baked goods, confectionery, cos- metics or pet food – the range of possible applications for the cobot is virtually limitless,” says Häusler. TESTING ON SITE And if you’re not yet entirely convinced, you can test the technology out for yourself at the Schubert booth. A cam- era stand is available for visitors to position their own items under the vision system, which can handle a wide variety of products such as bars, pouches, pump dispensers and lids. Cosmetics bottles can also be tested directly on the tog.519 cobots, which pick them up and place them correctly into position. CRAILSHEIM’DAN TAM ENTEGRE BIR ÇÖZÜM Tog.519, örneğin sıralanmamış nesne- leri hareket halindeki tepsilere yerleşti- rebiliyor. Häusler, “Kamera sistemi ve robot tamamen şirket içinde geliştirildi ve bir- likte kusursuz bir uyum içinde çalışıyor. Bu entegrasyon çözümümüzü piyasada gerçekten benzersiz kılıyor,” diye açıklı- yor. Yapay zekâ destekli görüntü sistemi sayesinde görüntü tanıma için algoritma temelli uzun programlama süreçlerine artık gerek kalmıyor. Böylece sistem, derin bir BT bilgisine gerek duymadan rahatlıkla çalıştırılabiliyor – hem de yal- nızca elma cipsiyle sınırlı kalmadan! Gelişmiş kamera teknolojisi sayesinde tog.519 çok çeşitli sektörlerde kullanıla- biliyor. Bu kameralar, tamamen yeni bir ürünü çok kısa bir sürede bağımsız ola- rak tanımlayabiliyor. Cobot, gıda ürün- lerinden tutun da yapıştırıcı çubukları, pompa dispenserleri gibi teknik ürünlere kadar çok sayıda farklı ürünü güvenle ayıklayabiliyor. Bu özellik, özellikle farklı sektörlerden değişken ürünlerle çalışan sözleşmeli paketle- me (co-packing) firmaları için büyük avantaj sağlıyor. Ancak, geniş ürün portföyüne sahip tek bir sektöre odaklanmış üre- ticiler de tog.519’un hızlı format değişiminden önemli ölçüde faydalanıyor. Häusler, “Fırın ürünleri, şekerlemeler, kozmetik ya da evcil hayvan mamaları – cobot’un potansiyel kullanım alanı neredeyse sınırsız,” diyor. Sistem; barlar, poşet- ler, pompa dispenserleri ve kapaklar gibi birçok farklı ürünü başarıyla tanıyabiliyor. Kozmetik şişeleri de doğrudan tog.519 cobot’ları üzerinde test edilebilecek – cobot’lar bu ürünleri ta- nıyıp doğru şekilde yerleştirecek.
