BBM • SEPTEMBER - EYLÜL 2025 77 76 BBM • SEPTEMBER - EYLÜL 2025 The Turkish Pasta Manufacturers Association (TMSD) and the Pasta Producers and Industrial- ists Association (MÜSAD), under the umbrella of the International Pasta Organization (IPO), take great pride in announcing that World Pasta Day 2025 will be held in Istanbul on October 24–26. This journey, which began in Rome in 1995 at Turkey’s initiative, was formalized in 1997 and has since been celebrated annually in differ- ent countries starting from 1998. After its mag- nificent hostings in 2008 and 2013, Turkey will welcome the global pasta industry for the third time this year. Theme: From Tradition to the Future Durumwheat, born fromthe fertile lands of Ana- tolia, has been a cornerstone of humanity’s food culture for over ten thousand years. This year’s theme will blend this deep-rooted heritage with the vision of the future, highlighting the healthy, innovative, and sustainable aspects of pasta. Türkiye Makarna Sanayicileri Derneği (TMSD) ve Makarna Üreticileri ve Sanayicileri Derneği (MÜSAD), Dünya Makarna Örgütü (IPO) çatısı altında bu yıl büyük bir gururu üstleniyor: Dün- ya Makarna Günü 2025, 24–26 Ekim tarihle- rinde İstanbul’da gerçekleşecek. 1995’te Roma’da Türkiye’nin önerisiyle do- ğan bu yolculuk, 1997’de resmileşti ve 1998’den itibaren her yıl farklı bir ülkede kutlanmaya baş- landı. Türkiye, 2008 ve 2013’teki görkemli ev sahipliklerinin ardından bu yıl üçüncü kez dün- ya makarna sektörünü ağırlayacak. Tema: Gelenekten Geleceğe Anadolu’nun bereketli topraklarında do- ğan makarnalık buğday, on bin yıllık tarihiyle insanlığın beslenme kültürünün temel taşla- rından biri oldu. Bu yılki tema, bu köklü mirası geleceğin vizyonuyla birleştirerek makarnanın sağlıklı, yenilikçi ve sürdürülebilir yönlerini öne çıkaracak .
