While contributing to foreign trade through exports to dozens of countries, the sector also supports the economy through em- ployment creation and added value. Although the overall export volume declined compared to the previous year, the industry preserved its market diversity and delivered strong performance particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and certain distant markets. The average export price rose to approximately USD 373 per ton. In Decem- ber 2025 alone, wheat flour exports totaled 208,020 tons, generating USD 74.8 million in export revenues. December figures remained close to those of the same period of the previous year, indicating a stable performance in the final month of the year. Commenting on the 2025 export performance, TUSAF Chairman of the Board Mehmet Mesut Çakmak stated: Turkish Flour Industry Targets 3 Million Tons of Exports in 2026 Despite fluctuations in global trade, the Turkish flour industry maintained itsproductionstrengthandexport capability through- out 2025, closing the year with solidperformance. Between Jan- uary and December 2025, the sector exported 2,344,528 tons of wheat flour, generating export revenues of USD 873.2million. Türk Un Sanayisi, 2026 yılında 3 milyon ton ihracat hedefliyor Türk un sanayisi, küresel ticarette yaşanan dalgalanma- lara rağmen 2025 yılında üretim gücünü ve ihracat ka- biliyetini koruyarak yılı tamamladı. Sektör, Ocak–Aralık 2025 döneminde 2 milyon 344 bin 528 ton buğday unu ihraç ederek 873,2 milyon dolarlık gelir elde etti. Türkiye Un Sanayicileri Federasyonu (TUSAF) çatısı altında faaliyet gösteren Türk un sanayisi, güçlü üretim altyapısı ve yaygın ihracat ağıyla Türkiye’nin gıda arz güvenliğinde strate- jik bir rol üstleniyor. Sektör, onlarca ülkeye yaptığı ihracatla dış ticarete katkı sağlarken, yarattığı istihdam ve katma değerle de ekonomiyi destekliyor. Yıl genelinde ihracat oranında bir önceki yıla göre düşüş yaşanmasına karşın, pazar çeşitliliğini koruyan sektör, özellikle Orta Doğu, Afrika ve bazı uzak pazarlarda güçlü performans sergiledi. Ortalama ihracat fiyatı ton başına yaklaşık 373 dolar seviyesine yükseldi. 2025 yılı Aralık ayında ise 208 bin 20 ton un ihracatı gerçekleştirilirken, 74,8 milyon dolarlık ihracat geliri elde edildi. Aralık ayı verileri, bir önceki yılın aynı dönemine yakın seyrederek sektörün yılın son ayında istikrarlı bir perfor- mans ortaya koyduğunu gösterdi. TUSAF Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Mehmet Mesut Çakmak, 2025 yılı ihracat performansına ilişkin şu değerlendirmede bulundu: “2025 yılında ihracatımızı bir önceki yıla göre yüz- de 22,5 düşüşle yaklaşık 2 milyon 345 bin ton seviyesinde tamamladık. Aylık bazda bakıldığında ise Aralık ayı ihracat rakamlarımızın 2024 Aralık ayıyla büyük ölçüde benzer se- viyelerde gerçekleştiğini görüyoruz. Önümüzdeki dönemde sektör olarak daha fazla sorumluluk alarak performansımızı yeniden yükseltmeyi ve 2026 yılında 3 milyon ton ihracat ra- kamına ulaşmayı hedefliyoruz.” SURIYE, 2025’TE TÜRK UN SANAYISININ EN HIZLI BÜYÜYEN PAZARI OLDU 2025 yılında Türk un sanayisinin ihracat performansında pazarlar arasında belirgin bir yeniden dengelenme yaşandı. Suriye başta olmak üzere bazı pazarlarda güçlü artışlar kay- dedildi. 2025 yılı Aralık ayında Suriye’ye yapılan buğday unu ihracatı 56 bin 972 ton ve 19,7 milyon dolar seviyesine ula- şarak, bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre miktarda yüzde 41,3, değerde yüzde 48,8 artış gösterdi. Yıl genelinde ise Suriye’ye ihracat 629 bin 727 ton ve 214,3 milyon dolara ulaştı. Bu per- formans, Suriye’yi Türk un sanayisinin en hızlı büyüyen pazar- larından biri haline getirdi. Aynı dönemde Irak pazarında ihracat hacminde gerileme yaşanırken, Afrika, Orta Doğu ve bazı uzak pazarlarda sağ- lanan artışlar sektörün pazar çeşitliliğini ve esnekliğini ortaya “In 2025, our exports declined by 22.5 percent compared to the previous year, closing at approximately 2.345 million tons. On a monthly basis, we observe that our December export figures were largely in line with those of December 2024. In the coming period, we aim to assume greater responsibility as a sector, increase our performance once again, and reach an export volume of 3 million tons in 2026.” SYRIA BECOMES THE FASTEST-GROWING MARKET FOR THE TURKISH FLOUR INDUSTRY IN 2025 In 2025, a marked rebalancing was observed among ex- port markets in the Turkish flour industry’s performance. Strong growth was recorded in several markets, particularly Syria. In December 2025, wheat flour exports to Syria reached 56,972 tons and USD 19.7 million, representing an increase of 41.3 percent in volume and 48.8 percent in value compared to the same month of the previous year. On an annual basis, exports to Syria totaled 629,727 tons, corresponding to USD 214.3 mil- lion in value. This performance positioned Syria as one of the fastest-growing markets for the Turkish flour industry. During the same period, export volumes declined in the Iraqi market, while increases recorded in Africa, the Middle East, and certain distant markets highlighted the sector’s market di- versity and flexibility. Growth in markets such as Ghana, Soma- lia, Cuba, Indonesia, and several African countries reinforced the industry’s strong position in alternative markets. 2025 PERFORMANCE OF THE TURKISH FLOUR INDUSTRY AND 2026 TARGETS In 2025, the Turkish flour industry exported a total of 2,344,528 tons of wheat flour, generating USD 873.2 million in export revenues. On a provincial basis, Istanbul and Gazian- tep maintained their leadership in exports, while increases re- corded in provinces such as Çorum, Aydın, Bursa, and Edirne demonstrated that the sector has a geographically widespread and balanced production and export structure. Having completed 2025 with a strong production infra- structure and a broad market network, the sector is preparing for 2026 with more ambitious targets. The export target of 3 million tons set for 2026 reflects the confidence placed in the industry’s production capacity and its experience in global markets. TUSAF CONGRESS TO SHAPE THE SECTOR’S ROADMAP The 20th TUSAF International Congress and Exhibition, to be held at the Antalya Kaya Palazzo Hotel from February 12–15, 2026, will serve as a key meeting point shaping the future of the sector. Organized under the theme “Climate Resilience and the Future of Trade,” the congress will address issues such as sustainable production, supply chain management, and the evolving dynamics of global trade. The event is expected to play a decisive role in shaping the roadmap of the Turkish flour industry for 2026 and beyond. koydu. TUSAF KONGRESI SEKTÖRÜN YOL HARITASINI ŞEKILLENDIRECEK 12–15 Şubat 2026 tarihlerinde Antalya Kaya Palazzo Hotel’de düzenlenecek TUSAF 20. Uluslararası Kongre ve Sergisi, sektörün geleceğine yön verecek önemli bir buluş- ma noktası olacak. “İklim Dayanıklılığı ve Ticaretin Geleceği” temasıyla gerçekleştirilecek kongrede; sürdürülebilir üretim, tedarik zinciri yönetimi ve küresel ticaretin dönüşen dinamik- leri ele alınacak.
