In 2024, the fair set a new at- tendance record by welcoming 92,482 visitors from 118 countries, including 10,566 international visitors, alongside 332 exhibitors. According to fair data, one in every 10 professional visitors is planning an invest- ment worth more than €100,000. While 99% of visitors said the event met their expectations, 92% rated it as “good” or “very good,” and 97% stated that they planned to attend the next edi- tion. Moreover, 93% of international visitors at- tended the fair with the intention of investing. Ufuk Altıntop, General Manager of Messe Stuttgart Turkey, said IBAKTECH’s continued growth despite the global economic slowdown demonstrated the industry’s strong appetite for invest- ment and trade. Emphasising that Istan- bul’s strategic location and Türkiye’s visa advantages support international demand, Altıntop said the fair would raise the bar further in 2026 in terms of both international reach and exhibition space. Having occupied five halls in 2022 and six in 2024, IBAKTECH will expand to seven halls covering 80,000 square metres in 2026. Exhibits will range from bakery, pastry and dough-processing machinery to chocolate and ice cream technologies, packaging machinery, bakery and pa- tisserie equipment, professional kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems. The event is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Trade under its “Prestigious Fair” programme. IBAKTECH targets over €5 billion in business volume Bringing together the bakery, chocolate, confection- ery, ice cream and HORECA industries, IBAKTECH will be held for the 15th time at the Istanbul Expo Cen- ter on 14–17 October 2026. Featuring more than 500 exhibitors and brands, the fair aims to welcome in- dustry professionals from 150 countries and generate over €5 billion in business volume within four days. IBAKTECH’te 5 milyar Euro’yu aşan iş hacmi hedefi Unlu mamuller, çikolata, şekerleme, dondurma ve HORECA sektörlerini buluşturan IBAKTECH, 14-17 Ekim 2026’da İstanbul Fuar Merkezi’nde 15’inci kez düzenlenecek. 500’ün üzerinde katılımcı ve markanın yer alacağı fuarda, 150 ülkeden sektör profesyoneli ve dört günde 5 milyar Euro’yu aşan iş hacmi hedefleniyor. Messe Stuttgart Turkey Fuarcılık tarafın- dan iki yılda bir düzenlenen IBAKTECH; üreticileri, makine ve ekipman firmalarını, tedarikçileri, yatırımcıları ve satın alma profesyonellerini İstanbul’da buluştu- racak. 2024’te 332 katılımcının yer aldığı fuar, 10 bin 566’sı uluslararası olmak üzere 118 ülkeden 92 bin 482 ziyaretçiyle kendi rekorunu kırmıştı. Fuar verilerine göre her 10 profes- yonel ziyaretçiden biri 100 bin Euro’nun üzerinde yatırım planlıyor. Ziyaretçilerin yüzde 99’u organizasyonun beklentilerini karşıladığını, yüzde 92’si fuarı “iyi” veya “çok iyi” bulduğunu ve yüzde 97’si yeniden ka- tılmayı planladığını belirtti. Uluslararası zi- yaretçilerin yüzde 93’ü ise fuara yatırım amacıyla geldiğini bildirdi. Messe Stuttgart Turkey Fuarcılık Genel Müdürü Ufuk Altıntop, küre- sel daralmaya rağmen fuarın büyü- mesinin sektördeki yatırım ve ticaret iştahını gösterdiğini söyledi. İstanbul’un stratejik konumu ile Türkiye’nin sağladı- ğı vize kolaylıklarının uluslararası talebi desteklediğini vurgulayan Altıntop, 2026’da erişim ve fuar alanı bakımından çıtayı yükselte- ceklerini ifade etti. 2022’de beş, 2024’te altı salonda düzen- lenen IBAKTECH, 2026’da yedi salon ve 80 bin metrekareye yayılacak. Fuarda ekmek-pasta ve hamur makinelerinden çikolata ve dondurma teknolojilerine; ambalaj, fırın, pastane ve profesyo- nel mutfak ekipmanlarından soğut- ma sistemlerine kadar geniş bir ürün grubu sergilenecek.
