According to a statement by the Council, the general assembly was held un- der the supervision of İhsan Emiralioğlu, Deputy Director General of Crop Production at the Min- istry of Agriculture and Forestry. Following the election, Yaşar Serpi officially took over the presi- dency from Özkan Taşpınar. Upon his election, Yaşar Serpi stated that the Council will continue to serve as a bridge be- tween farmers and the government, and be- tween the industry and the market. Emphasizing the importance of this responsibility, Serpi said: “Our main duties will be to ensure a reliable flow of data for market stability, contribute to produc- tion planning, and strengthen cooperation among the public sector, academia, industry, and produc- ers. As in the past, we will maintain a participatory management approach. As I assume this role, I feel indebted to express my gratitude to all our former presidents and those who have served in previous administrations. We will work with all our strength to carry the legacy they left us even further.” Outgoing president of the third and fourth terms, Özkan Taşpınar, extended his best wishes to the new Board of Direc- tors, expressing that it was an honor to have worked in unity and consultation with all stakeholders during his tenure. Yaşar Serpi elected as the new president of the National Grain Council At the 13th Ordinary General Assembly of the National Grain Council (UHK), Yaşar Serpi was elected as the new president, succeeding Özkan Taşpınar. Ulusal Hububat Konseyi’nin yeni başkanı Yaşar Serpi Ulusal Hububat Konseyinin 13. Olağan Genel Kurul’un- da başkanlığa Yaşar Serpi seçildi. Serpi görevi Özkan Taşpınar’dan devraldı. Ulusal Hububat Konseyinin (UHK), 13. Ola- ğan Genel Kurul›unda başkanlığa Yaşar Serpi seçildi. Konya Ticaret Borsası ev sahipliğinde yapılan genel kurulda gerçekleşen seçimde, UHK›nin yeni yönetimi, meclisi, araştırma-da- nışma kurulları ile denetim kurulu belirlendi. UHK›den yapılan açıklamaya göre, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı Bitkisel Üretim Genel Mü- dür Yardımcısı İhsan Emiralioğlu›nun gözeti- minde yapılan genel kurulda, UHK›nin baş- kanlığına seçilen Yaşar Serpi görevi Özkan Taşpınar›dan devraldı. Başkan seçilen Yaşar Serpi, konsey olarak çiftçi ile devlet, sanayici ile piyasa arasında köprü olmayı sürdüreceklerini söyledi. Serpi, UHK›nin yeni başkanı olarak bu görevi üstlen- menin önemli bir sorumluluk olduğuna dikkat çekerek, «Piyasa istikrarı için güvenilir veri akışı sağlamak, üretim planlamasına katkı sunmak, kamu, üniversite, sanayi, üretici işbirliğini geliş- tirmek temel görevimiz olacak. Geçmişte oldu- ğu gibi katılımcı bir yönetim anlayışıyla hizmet edeceğiz. Bu görevi devralırken geçmişte emeği olan tüm başkanlarımıza ve yönetimlerde görev alan herkese teşekkür etmeyi bir borç biliyorum. Onların bıraktığı mirası daha ileri taşımak için var gücümüzle çalışacağız» dedi. Görevini devreden üçüncü ve dördüncü dönem başkanı Özkan Taşpınar, yeni Yönetim Kurulu üyelerine başarılar dile- yerek, görev süresince tüm paydaşlarla birlik ve istişare içinde çalışmaktan onur duyduğunu belirtti.
