Bizim Mutfak acquired by Japanese firm

Yıldız Holding Chairman Murat Ülker expressed via a statement on social media that they sold Örgen Gıda (Bizim Mutfak) to Ajinomoto, a producer of Japanese food and food products, for 220 million Turkish liras.

bizimmutfakMurat Ülker, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yıldız Holding, whose shares recently fell sharply at Istanbul Stock Exchange, announced that they have sold all of Örgen Gıda (Bizim Mutfak) to Ajinomoto, a Japanese food and food manufacturer, for 220 million Turkish liras told. Bizim Mutfak includes soup, bullion, ketchup, mayonnaise, pasta, baking soda, vanillin, starch, rice fl our, powdered sugar, fl our and pulses. Procurement is expected to be completed by early 2017. Founded in 1981, Örgen Gıda joined Yıldız Holding in the beginning of 2000’s.
