Seyidoglu established cake facility with 1 million-TL investment

Making 1 million-TL investment for capacity increase, Seyidoglu Gida started the production of cake, dairy desserts and the desserts in syrup and also its new products for kids in its new facility. This investment would provide support to the export activities of the company. As one of the leading companies of the agricultural industry, Seyidoglu Gida made 1 million-TL investment for increasing product range and within export activities. Giving the information that they increased their capacity for the production of especially pastry products and kids’ products and for the production of new dessert varieties, Seyidoglu General Manager Mehmet Goksu said; “We activated our new production unit including the machineries with 1 million-TL investment. We added thousand square meter area to our 8 thousand square meter production area in Hadimkoy Istanbul. In here, we started the production of especially cake, dairy desserts, desserts in syrup and products for kids concept. Besides, we will also gain support for our export activities with this investment. THE TONNAGES OF CAKES AND SOME BAKERY PRODUCTS ARE INCREASED Making the production of especially halva and jam and nearly 400 product varieties, Seyidoglu continues its investments in order to extend its product range and meet the increasing demand. Expressing that they produce 25 tons of halva, 20 tons of tahini and 15 tons of jam; General Manager Mehmet Goksu told; “We have one of the leading facilities of Europe in terms of product range and capacity. Especially in the recent years, we have been making export to nearly 20 countries with 4 different brands within our export activities. As a result of our R&D studies, we increase the product varieties each passing day. We started to reproduce the precious jams of Ottoman palace. We prepared a new product series in which we used cartoon characters in order to make kids love our traditional tastes. With the new product varieties, we needed capacity increase and additional investments. We increased the tonnages of cake, dairy desserts and some bakery products which were produced in lower amounts previously. We increased the total number of our employees over 400 by hiring 30 new employees with the new investment.” “WE WILL CONTINUE TO OUR INVESTMENTS” Informing that they make production under the brands Sultan Baci, Seysu and Cokomiss besides Seyidoglu brand; Mehmet Goksu said: “We make the production of traditional Ottoman tastes with our 65-year Seyidoglu brand. In order to appeal to different taste groups, we started the production with different brands especially for the export market. With the recently purchased Sultan Baci brand, we have taken our place at the gross markets in many European countries. We export our traditional tastes even to the world’s most isolated countries. We will continue to our investments of going retail and capacity increase in order for moving our success bar to the top positions.”
