İstanbul Halk Ekmek (İHE) has expanded its production capacity by commissioning a third production line at its Ahmet İsvan Public Bread Factory in Hadımköy, increasing its daily toast bread production capacity to 84,000 loaves.

İstanbul Halk Ekmek (İHE) has added another investment aimed at strengthening its production capacity. The company officially inaugurated the third production line at its Ahmet İsvan Public Bread Factory in Hadımköy during a ceremony.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Acting Mayor of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Nuri Aslan, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Prof. Dr. Volkan Demir, and İstanbul Halk Ekmek General Manager Derya Atacan. With the commissioning of the new production line, the factory's daily toast bread production capacity has reached 84,000 loaves.

The new investment is expected to help İstanbul Halk Ekmek meet growing demand while strengthening its production operations. The company stated that the increase in production capacity will further support its mission of providing Istanbul residents with high-quality, safe and affordable bakery products.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Acting Mayor of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Nuri Aslan said that the third production line at the Ahmet İsvan Public Bread Factory in Hadımköy has a daily capacity of 84,000 toast bread loaves, adding that the investment will contribute to improving citizens' access to healthy and affordable food.

In its statement, İstanbul Halk Ekmek emphasized that the new production line further enhances the company's manufacturing capabilities and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing investments aimed at supplying consumers with high-quality, safe and affordable products. The company also noted that the new line is expected to strengthen Istanbul's bread supply infrastructure by significantly increasing toast bread production capacity.
