Ankara Metropolitan Municipality’s bread company Ankara Halk Ekmek has chosen Dr. Huseyin Velioglu as its new general manager, a retired bureaucrat from the Turkish Agriculture Ministry.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Halk Ekmek assigned an experienced bureaucrat from the Turkish Agriculture Ministry as its new general manager. Dr. Huseyin Velioglu assumed the task on the 30th of April, 2020. Velioglu assumed many senior administrative duties before being retired from the Agricultural Production and Development General Directory (TUGEM) of the Turkish Agriculture Ministry.
Huseyin Velioglu was born in 1958 in the Black Sea town of Of. He was graduated from Ankara University Agriculture Faculty Zootechnics Department in 1982 and he received a doctorate from the same university in 1999.
He took on inspection duties at Agriculture and Rural Affairs Ministry between 1988 and 1996. Then he worked at Agricultural Production and Development General Directory (TUGEM) of the Turkish Agriculture Ministry as deputy general manager and general manager until 2007. After being retired from the public sector he also worked for several agriculture unions.
