Arbel Group Chairman of the Executive Board Hasan Arslan said that their primary target markets are India, China and Russia and that they are targeting 10 percent growth in 2017.

According to news from the Economist, Arslan underlined that they would increase employment and capacity and added: “We have increased employment by 5 percent in 2017 and will continue to increase it until the end of the year.”
Pointing out that while Durum Gıda, a Group company, was providing employment to 200 people in 2014, it increased its employment to 375 in 2016, Arslan said: “Our goal is to increase our country and product portfolio. In parallel, we will increase our capacity and employment. We have increased employment by 5 percent in 2017 and will continue to increase until the end of the year.”

Stating that they have achieved sustainable growth with their investments in the right places and at the right time, Hasan Arslan asserted that Arbel would direct global pulses sector. Arslan added: “We are one of the biggest pulses and pasta exporters of Turkey. We are making investments for sustainable growth. Our group, which established Mersin’s first integrated lentil, bulgur and pasta plants, increased its pulses capacity by 30 percent with investments made in 2016. We invested approximately 11 million TL for additional buildings and production lines”.
