New investment by Oba Makarna

Oba Makarna has taken over the Piyale Makarna’s factory of Nissin Yıldız company in Hendek. With the additional investment amounted 25 million Euro, Oba Makarna will increase its capacity.

obaExporting 70 percent of its production to nearly 95 countries, Oba Makarna has taken over the factory of Piyale Makarna located in Sakarya, Hendek of Nissin Yıldız company established in partnership of Yıldız Holding and Nissin Foods Holdings, the Japanese food leader. With new investments, Oba Makarna aims to reach a market share of 15 percent in worldwide pasta export. Alpaslan Özgüçlü, the CEO of Oba Makarna stated that factory facilities of Piyale Makarna located in Sakarya, Hendek of purchased Nissin Yıldız company has a daily 300 tons of pasta and 200 tons of flour production capacity, and added: “We are planning to make an additional investment amounted 25 million Euro for newly purchased plants. Now, Oba Makarna operates with a daily 100 tons of production capacity. Our daily pasta production capacity will increase by 1400 tones with the plants of Nissin Yıldız that we have recently taken over. With the additional investments of 25 million Euro, we will increase our pasta production capacity to 1800 tons per day.

OBA UN TO BE INTO THE MARKET SOON Oba Makarna will make flour production in the plants of Piyale Makarna factory. Oba Makarna which will enter into the flour industry in Hendek facility with a flour production capacity of daily 200 tones will bring its package and bulk product ranges into the market.
