According to a newspiece by Kerim Ülker from Dünya Daily, Simit Sarayı is holding talks to acquire Komşufırın. KOMŞUFIRIN AND SİMİT SARAYI Komşufırın which has a total of 75 branches including 3 outside İstanbul was founded in 2006 and serve more than 1 million customers on a daily basis. Opening its first branch in 2002 with the aim of introducing bagel, a traditional flavor of Anatolia, first to Turkey and then to all around the world, Simit Sarayı daily serves close to 650.000 visitors with its 10.000 employees in its hundreds of branches in domestic and overseas markets.
