Beşler Flour Mill received two awards, namely the Stars of Export by the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Association (GAİB) and the companies with the highest number of registrations by the Gaziantep Commodity Exchange.
Beşler Flour Mill and Beşsan Pasta, both Beşler Group companies, were awarded with the Stars of Export award at the "GAİB Stars of Export Award Ceremony" organized by the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Associations (GAİB) due to the added value they provide to the national economy and the high exports they perform.
The "Star of Export" award was given to the top 100 companies that exported the most out of nearly 13 thousand members registered to the Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Associations. At the ceremony, companies that contributed to the Turkish economy in 2020 with their production, employment and high export levels were awarded. Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna Turagay, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President İsmail Gülle, GAİB Union Presidents and Gaziantep Chamber and Exchange Presidents as well as many industrialists and business people attended the ceremony.
The awards of Beşler Group, which received 2 awards at the stars of export award ceremony, were received by Ömer Çakmak, Member of the Board of Directors on behalf of Beşler Flour Mill, and Ali Kemal Çakmak, Member of the Board of Directors, on behalf of Beşsan Pasta.
On the other hand, Beşler Flour Mill ranked the 3rd with its number of registrations at the ceremony where Gaziantep Commodity Exchange rewarded the companies with the highest number of registrations. The award was presented to Yusuf Çakmak on behalf of Beşler Flour Mill, joinlt by Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, TOBB President Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Commodity Exchange Council President Ahmet Tiryakioğlu and Commodity Exchange Chairman Mehmet Akıncı.
