The Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation (TUSAF) is preparing to bring the industry together for a comprehensive discussion on bread, from production to consumption, and its future. Under the motto “We Have a Promise to Bread,” the TUSAF Bread Summit will take place at InterContinental Grand Ankara on November 14, 2026, bringing together industry representatives, experts and stakeholders. Supported by Ankara Un, participation in the event will be free of charge.

The Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation (TUSAF), one of the leading umbrella organizations representing Türkiye’s flour industry, is organizing a special event focusing on bread, the final product of the flour industry and an indispensable part of everyday diets. Announced with the message, “The bread issue is not over… We Have a Promise to Bread,” the summit will address the economic, scientific, cultural and social dimensions of bread through a series of dedicated sessions.

Türkiye holds a significant position globally with its strong flour industry and deeply rooted bread culture. Against this backdrop, the TUSAF Bread Summit aims to offer a broad perspective that goes beyond production and trade, focusing on bread’s place at the table, scientific facts surrounding bread and nutrition, and its wider social value.

Bringing together stakeholders from different parts of the industry, the summit is expected to provide a common platform for discussing the future of bread. In its invitation, TUSAF calls on industry representatives to come together to “shape the future of bread.”

Participation in the TUSAF Bread Summit, supported by Ankara Un, will be free of charge. Industry representatives and other guests wishing to attend are required to complete the registration form prior to the event.

Following the opening and protocol speeches, the summit in Ankara will continue at 10:30 a.m. with its first session, “The Taste of the Table.” The second session of the day will be held under the title “41 Facts in 41 Minutes.”

The afternoon program will feature a series of activities highlighting the value of bread and the industry’s social responsibility. At 2:00 p.m., the “Value for Bread / Bread Auction” will take place. This will be followed at 3:00 p.m. by the third session, “Sowing Science in Minds,” which will address issues related to bread and nutrition from a scientific perspective.

The final session of the day, “Be the Master of Your Life,” will begin at 5:00 p.m. The summit will conclude with closing remarks, acknowledgements and a group photo.
