Mesut Çakmak, President of the Turkish Flour Industrialists Federation (TUSAF), together with members of the federation’s board of directors, attended the Dubai Gulfood Food Fair, widely recognized as one of the largest food exhibitions in the world.

During the exhibition, the federation delegation visited the stands of Turkish companies, meeting with members and sector stakeholders while also holding discussions aimed at developing international collaborations.

Bringing together thousands of companies across a wide spectrum including flour, grains, pulses, oils, confectionery, and food technologies, the fair plays a significant role in opening the door to new markets, establishing export connections, and following the latest trends in the industry. For companies seeking to expand into the Middle East, Africa, and Asian markets, Gulfood is regarded as a strategic platform.

Mesut Çakmak stated: “As flour industrialists, we participated in the Gulfood Fair held in Dubai between January 26–30, 2026. Our aim was both to support our members and to establish new business relations through various contacts. We did not limit our visits only to stakeholders from the flour industry; we visited representatives from all sectors carrying our proud national flag. As the TUSAF Board of Directors, we will continue to take part in such events in the future. Our responsibility is to ensure that the Turkish people are nourished properly.”
