The bakery sector was diversified by the advancing technology and the change in consumer habits. Low-weight products with high-diversity replaced the high-weight products with low-diversity. With this change in the industry, producers started to work more professionally on the cooking techniques and diversification.

Turkey’s bakery industry has been developing rapidly in recent years. Especially in the last 20-30 years, the bakery infrastructure has been completely renewed thanks to the advancing technology. Although large-capacity industrial furnaces are not highly preferred in Turkey, multi-storey, rotary rack, stone-base ovens spread throughout the country. Even in the remote corners of the country, state-of-the-art ovens are being used. With the advancing technology taking into account the changing habits and trends of the consumers, many companies changed the design of their products.
Thanks to the development of the Turkish machinery industry, many of the equipment previously imported from abroad are being produced by Turkish companies. The companies developed so fast that today Turkish producers sell products to all over the world.
