Showcasing its tailored solutions for different food categories at Foodist, Özmen Un continues to grow as a strong solution partner that meets manufacturers’ needs across a broad range of products, from bread and pizza to baklava and croissants.

Özmen Un presented its specialty flour solutions developed for different production segments to industry professionals at Foodist, which was held for the first time this year from 1–4 September. Commenting after the exhibition in Istanbul, Özmen Un CEO Oğuz Özmen said that the company does not position itself merely as a flour producer, but attaches importance to being a business partner that develops tailored solutions for the needs of major food manufacturers operating in different categories. Noting that the company contributes to production processes across a broad spectrum, from bread and pizza to baklava and croissants, and from industrial production to professional kitchens, Özmen said that serving as a supply partner to leading food manufacturers in Türkiye and various other countries represents both a source of pride and an important responsibility for the company.

Özmen, who also serves as a Board Member of the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations (GAİB), expressed his satisfaction that Foodist, which they had supported since its establishment process, attracted a strong exhibitor and visitor profile in its very first year. He underlined that the event was not merely a meeting point for establishing commercial connections, but also offered insight into the direction in which the industry is evolving, the areas in which it is gaining strength and the potential it holds.

Özmen said he believed that Foodist would continue to grow in the coming years and become one of the leading international meeting points for Türkiye’s food industry.
