The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has announced the highly anticipated grain purchase and sales prices for the 2026 season. The purchase price for both durum and bread wheat has been declared as 16,500 TL/Ton. Including subsidies, farmers will receive a total of 19,514 TL per ton of wheat.
Heavy precipitation across Turkey has caused the grain harvest to start later than last year. While harvesting operations have currently commenced in certain regions, TMO had already begun accepting wheat and barley registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) against commitment letters as of May 21, 2026, in order to provide storage convenience to producers. Following the completion of market analyses, the base prices for the new season have been finalized.
