Following the successful operation of a 600 tons per day turnkey flour mill, commissioned three years ago and operating reliably since then, Alapala announces a new agreement with Brazil-based Marata Group for additional flour milling investments totalling 1,600 tpd capacity.

The new contracts, signed by Alapala International Inc., represent a total project value of USD 12.8 million and mark a significant expansion of Marata Group’s milling operations. With the addition of the new 1,600 tpd capacity to the existing 600-tpd facility, Marata Group’s total installed flour milling capacity will reach 2,200 tpd. The new facilities are scheduled to be delivered within 2026, with initial equipment shipments already completed, confirming that the projects are progressing in line with the agreed execution schedule.

The previously commissioned 600-tpd flour mill, delivered by Alapala and operational since 2022, has demonstrated strong performance in terms of capacity utilization, product quality, operational stability, and energy efficiency. The sustained success of this facility played a key role in Marata Group’s decision further to expand its production capacity in partnership with Alapala.
