Eti, a leading brand in the Turkish food industry, has swiched to a new global structuring in parallel with the growth it has achieved in international markets. Stephane Batoux has been appointed as the CEO of Eti Global.
Eti, a leader of the Turkish food industry and one of the largest industrial establishments of the country with its dozens of brands and hundreds of products offered to consumers for more than 60 years, is taking significant steps towards becoming Turkey’s global brand.
Eti, which has taken critical steps that create milestones such as establishing the geographical unit of “Eti International” in 2017 in an attempt to activate the first production facility outside of Turkey in Craiova, Romania, to create a strong presence in its strategic markets and to accelerate its long-standing high export performance, achieved significant international growth. With a new project to further strengthen international presence, Eti is now shifting to a new global organization. Leading the Europe-based Eti International unit since 2017, Stephane Batoux was appointed as the CEO of Eti Global as of March 1, 2023. Ercan Öz, who has been leading the sales organization in Turkey, Eti’s largest market, since September 2021, became the CEO of Eti Turkey as of March 1, 2023, to maintain the company’s strength in Turkey. In his new position, Öz will report to Eti Global CEO, Stephane Batoux. Ercan Öz will also serve as the General Manager of Eti Gıda.
Hakan Polatoğlu, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Eti since 2011, will go on as a Member of the Board of Eti Gıda.
With the establishment of the new global organization and its new leadership team, Eti aims to strengthen its leadership in Turkey, to accelerate its international growth by utilizing its expertise there, and ultimately to become a strong global brand of Turkey.
