The president of the Association of Southeastern Flour Industrialists (GUSAD) has changed. Mesut Çakmak, Vice Chairman of Beşler Group, was elected to replace GUSAD President Erhan Özmen, who has served the sector for many years. In the last general assembly of GUSAD, which operates to find solutions to the problems of the flour sector, Engin Müderris Fedaioğlu, İbrahim Halil Dayıoğlu, Mesut Acar, Nizamettin Yılmaz, Hasan Özmermer, Sedat Sezer, Bilal Özbay, İbrahim Halil Bükün, Abdülkadir Saatçi, Ebedin Ergün, Fatih Özufacık and Ömer Uslu were also elected as members of the Board of Directors at the last general assembly of the association.
In his statement after the general assembly, Mesut Çakmak, the new president of GUSAD, stated that their priorities are to realize the activities that will improve the sector and they will try to represent flour industrialists in all platforms. “I would like to thank all the members of the previous management for their great efforts for our association. I believe that we will serve our sector representatives in the best way in the new period and we will make our association an ideal solution organization in every subject “. he said. Mr. Çakmak’s predecessor Erhan Ozmen, the CEO of Ozmen Un, had been the chairman of Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation (TFIF) for many years.
