The first branch of Magnolia Bakery, one of the leading representatives of American patisserie culture, was opened in Vadistanbul.
The first branch of Magnolia Bakery, the iconic brand of New York City, was opened in Vadistanbul by Turkish Investor Mehmet Dinçerler. Explaining that as an investor coming from the food and beverage industry, he embarked on this journey with the awareness of the gap of the American patisserie culture in the Turkish market, Mehmet Dinçerler said, “My team and I have always worked with the belief that Magnolia Bakery would suit Istanbul very well. Since 2020, we have put a lot of effort into Magnolia Bakery, which I first tasted in New York and dreamed about its concept, thinking that the need for a world brand will be met by the gourmets of our country. Istanbul Magnolia Bakery is a meaningful investment as it is the first branch of Europe.”
Magnolia Bakery Turkey’s investor Mehmet Dinçerler and Magnolia Bakery Turkey COO Tuğba Dinçerler Uçar stated that they are happy to have brought the brand to Turkey. Erick Larios, Vice President of Magnolia Bakery Franchise Operations, came to Turkey for the opening of the Istanbul branch.
At Magnolia Bakery Istanbul, 60 special flavors were presented at the opening in the categories of Icebox Pie & Bar, Banana Pudding, Brownie & Bar, Cake & Cupcake, Fruit Crisps, Pie, Cookie, Cheesecake Tres Leches and breakfast food.
