Şule Sarıbatı named new HR Director of Barilla Turkey

Barilla Turkey has appointed Şule Sarıbatı as its new Human Resources Director. With over 20 years of experience, Sarıbatı is set to bring a fresh perspective to Barilla Turkey’s HR vision.

Barilla, which operates 29 facilities worldwide, including its factory in Bolu, Turkey, announced the appointment of the seasoned HR professional, Sarıbatı, who will oversee the company’s human resources operations. Barilla’s products reach millions of households daily in more than 100 countries.

Sarıbatı has over two decades of experience in human resources, during which she has led various projects both in Turkey and abroad. She has made significant contributions in career development, talent management, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and culture and change management.

Since August 2005, Sarıbatı managed HR teams at Novartis Group’s Alcon and Novartis Pharmaceuticals and served on the Alcon Board of Directors. A graduate of Uludağ University’s Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Sarıbatı also holds a master’s degree in Organizational Management from Marmara University. In her new role, she will lead the management and development of Barilla Food’s HR processes. Sarıbatı is married and a mother of one son.
