Ülker has once again achieved the top spot in its category in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance evaluation conducted by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), an international financial analysis and reporting organization.

The ESG performance evaluation by LSEG, which assesses publicly traded companies, has been announced. Ülker, known for its waste-free corporate culture and long-standing commitment to sustainability, received the highest score among 484 companies evaluated in its category as of January 2025, following its previous top ranking in January 2024. Additionally, Ülker has maintained its leadership position among all sectors on Borsa Istanbul.

LSEG’s evaluation considers over 100 performance criteria across areas such as energy, water, emissions, waste management, human rights, labor practices, corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, and responsible production.

Ülker CEO Mete Buyurgan highlighted the company’s leading position on national and international platforms for its sustainability performance in environmental, social, and governance areas. Buyurgan stated:

“At Ülker, we have focused on strengthening our robust governance structure and enhancing our resilience against sustainability risks to achieve our goal of creating a resilient global food system. We have placed sustainability at the core of all environmental, social, and governance areas, which we believe are transforming us.”
