Ülker Bisküvi has released its report, “the Contribution to Turkey’s Sustainable Growth Strategy.” According to the report, Ülker Bisküvi has contributed 21.6 billion TL to the national income of Turkey between 2013 and 17.
“The Contribution to Turkey’s Sustainable Growth Report” of Ülker Bisküvi by Profesor Kerem Alkin and Profesor Metin Gürler has been released. In the report, the importance for Turkey to reach the capacity to be among the top 15 economies in the world between 2020 and 2030 has been stressed. Limited number of companies that focused on added value, efficiency, and cost management in the production, homeland sale, and export has assumed important tasks for Turkey to continue its claim in the global economy in coming 10 years. Turkey that is self-sufficient in wheat production and has some importance in flour production will increase its export thanks to companies like Ülker Bisküvi that adds value to flour.
Mehmet Tütüncü, CEO of Yıldız Holding said the following: “Ülker Bisküvi has realized 919 milllion TL of fixed investment in the five years between 2013 and 2017. When considering the company’s share in Turkey’s total fixed investment and the multiplier effect of fixed investment on Turkey’s national income is 3.3, the multiplier effect of investments on Turkey’s national income between 2013 and 2017 is more than 3 billion TL. Considering the added value of the total production, Ülker Bisküvi’s contribution to Turkey’s national income is 21.6 billion for the period 2013-2017.”
