A historic achievement in the Turkish flour industry as Özmen Un enters Turquality

Özmen Un has marked a first by surpassing a new threshold in its global journey. As the first and only brand in the flour industry to be accepted into the Turquality program, the company has ushered in a new era in the global branding journey of the Turkish flour sector.

Another historic milestone has been achieved in the name of branding and institutionalization within the Turkish flour industry. By becoming the first and only flour brand admitted to the Turquality program, Özmen Un has opened the door to a new era for the sector.


Speaking exclusively to BBM Magazine during the TUSAF Congress, Özmen Un CEO Oğuz Özmen emphasized that they do not regard the Turquality process merely as a headline achievement. “Becoming the first and only brand in the flour industry to be accepted into the Turquality program is a strong step in our long-term strategy. This is the result of the deliberate steps we have taken over the years and the transformation we have pursued with determination,” he stated.

Highlighting that the company has been progressing for a long time with a clear vision, the young CEO Oğuz Özmen noted that strengthening the corporate structure, standardizing processes, placing technology at the center of production, and elevating the brand to a globally competitive level have been their core priorities. Pointing out that Turquality requires strategy, discipline, and sustainability, Özmen underlined that this approach has already been an integral part of the company’s long-term roadmap.

Emphasizing that Özmen Un’s focus is not merely to increase production capacity but to build a strong and reputable brand, Özmen said, “For us, the issue is not only to produce well; it is to grow correctly, in a planned and sustainable manner. By transforming Anatolia’s valuable wheat into its most accurate and value-added forms, we aim to position the Turkish flour industry in a more prestigious place in the global market.”

In a statement shared on the company’s LinkedIn account, Özmen Un expressed pride in achieving a first in Türkiye’s flour sector, emphasizing that quality standards are being advanced day by day and that strong steps will continue to be taken in line with its global vision.

The Turquality achievement is regarded as a significant milestone that certifies not only Özmen Un’s production strength but also its corporate vision and global branding ambition.
