The 15th Arbella International Photography Competition Exhibition, a reflection of Arbella’s long-standing support for the arts, met with art enthusiasts at Taksim Sanat. Bringing together powerful visual narratives from diverse geographies, the exhibition has drawn significant attention from art and photography lovers since its opening day. The exhibition remained open to visitors for one month.
A total of 763 photographers from 42 countries participated in the competition with 6,294 works. Following the jury’s evaluations, award-winning works were determined in the categories of Nature and Humans, Frames from the Kitchen, and Open. The exhibition featured a total of 84 works, including 30 award-winning pieces—three of which received the Arbella Special Award—and 54 works honored with FIAP, GPU, and TFSF honorable mentions.
Organized under the patronage of esteemed photography organizations FIAP, GPU, and TFSF, the competition continues to consolidate its international prestige with increasing participation each year.
The exhibition took viewers on a multi-layered visual journey through works focusing on the relationship between nature and humans, frames opening into the kitchens of different cultures, and an open category shaped by free expressions.
Gülçin Arslan Hazar, CEO of Durum Gıda, shared the following remarks regarding the event: “We take great pride in sustaining the Arbella International Photography Competition uninterrupted for 15 years. Bringing together diverse perspectives from all corners of the world under one roof through the universal language of photography is very precious to us. As Arbella, we will continue to ensure the sustainability of projects that touch upon art, culture, and carefully crafted moments.”
