Tütüncü becomes CEO of Yıldız Holding

Mehmet Tütüncü has become CEO of Yıldız Holding whose the chairman of the executive board is Murat Ülker while the deputy chairman is Ali Ülker. Also, Tütüncü will assume another deputy chairman position remained vacant for some time.

Yıldız Holding has snack businesses like Ülker, McVitie’s, Godiva, etc. and make production in 80 facilities around the world including 55 facilities in Turkey in many different areas from biscuits to chocolate, from gum to candy and oil, from frozen food to personal care products. The company made a senior promotion. Mehmet Tütüncü has been with the company for twenty-two years and now became the deputy chairman of the holding that the chairman of the executive board is Murat Ülker while the deputy chairman is Ali Ülker. Tütüncü will hold the position of CEO at Yıldız Holding and Ülker Company. “We perceive this position as an important step for institutionalization, and Mehmet Tütüncü will lead Yıldız Holding and all our domestic sharing to have the best performance,” Murat Ülker, the chairman of the executive board, said on the promotion of Mehmet Tütüncü. Tütüncü started his career as the Business Coordinator at Ülker Food Inc. in 1996. Previously, he worked as the General Manager of Ülker Biscuit and Chocolate facilities, Deputy President of Ülker Group, Group President of Food and Beverage, Food Group, and Ülker International Group President.
