Flour sector is meeting in Gaziantep with all its stakeholders. Sector representatives who had a difficult season will discuss future projections after the harvest.

The Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation (TUSAF) is preparing for one of the most significant gatherings of the flour industry. The annual “Post-Harvest Extended Sector Evaluation Meeting,” organized under the federation’s umbrella, will take place in Gaziantep on October 2–5, 2025. Hosted by the Çukurova Flour Industrialists’ Association (ÇUSD) and the Southeastern Flour Industrialists’ Association (GUSAD), this year’s event will be held under the theme “Post-Harvest Future Projections.”

TUSAF Chairman Mehmet Mesut Çakmak highlighted the importance of the meeting for sectoral unity and collaboration, stating:
“I consider these gatherings, which bring together all stakeholders of our flour industry, extremely valuable and productive. By prioritizing respect and cooperation, working harder, and contributing more, I believe we can take our sector to the very top. In Gaziantep, a city rich in history and culture, we will not only experience unforgettable flavors but also take the pulse of the industry. It will be an honor to host all our stakeholders at this important event.”

The Gaziantep meeting is expected to go beyond evaluating the current status of the industry; it will also play a decisive role in shaping the strategic roadmap for the future. Participants will discuss production, exports, consumption, and upcoming trends in Turkey’s flour sector, which continues to hold global leadership.
