Global pasta production is set to exceed 17 million tons in 2025, while exports are expected to reach 7.5 million tons. Italy maintains its leadership, and Turkey continues its strong upward momentum with a target of 2 million tons in exports.

Anselmo Group has added a new project to its portfolio in Turkey. For one of the country’s leading pasta producers, the company has successfully commissioned a long-cut dry pasta line with a capacity of 6 tons per hour.

In 2023, 6.2 million tonnes of pasta were produced in the EU, worth €8.9 billion. While the volume was comparable with 2022 (6.1 million tonnes), there was an increase of €1.1 billion in terms of value.
