Gerhard Schubert GmbH has upgraded its CARE platform (‘Connection for Analytics, Reporting and Efficiency’) to optimize OEE calculation and enhance machine monitoring. The 2025 update enables standardized OEE measurement, decentralized data management, and customized content presentation.
Since 2025, all new Schubert machines include an interface to the CARE system, with existing machines being gradually adapted. CARE, part of Schubert’s digital service portfolio since 2022, provides full transparency on production speed, uptime, reject rates, and throughput via machine interfaces and quality control scanners. The system summarizes key performance data on a user-friendly dashboard accessible via a web portal.

“Transparency and efficiency drive our digital solutions. CARE’s evolution ensures standardized, fast, and customized OEE insights,” says Sonja Burkert, Lifecycle Product Manager at Schubert.
The upgraded CARE system complies with the DIN EN 415-11 European standard, ensuring uniform OEE measurement. “This allows for easier benchmarking across multiple lines,” explains Andreas Kepler, Lifecycle Product Manager. The system now includes infeed speed as a key OEE factor.

Schubert now processes data within the machines, enabling faster access. CARE also offers an offline dashboard option for local infrastructure use. “Users can now view data faster and in alignment with their specific needs,” adds Burkert.
With improved customization and accessibility, CARE empowers manufacturers with actionable insights for greater production efficiency.
