Eksun Gıda has signed another
significant protocol that brings academic knowledge together with industrial
expertise. Through the cooperation established with Selçuk University, the aim
is to enhance R&D and innovation processes at Eksun Gıda’s factory in
Konya, to train qualified human resources, and to support sector-oriented
academic studies.
One of Türkiye’s leading flour producers, Eksun Gıda continues to strengthen its investments through academic partnerships. In this context, the strategic protocol signed with Selçuk University includes concrete steps toward close collaboration between academia and industry. While the agreement offers opportunities for joint work in many areas—such as R&D projects, technical consultancy, thesis studies, and the sharing of laboratory and infrastructure facilities—it also covers the integration of students into professional life. This long-term initiative presents a cooperation model focused on both sectoral development and social benefit.
A SHARED GOAL IN R&D AND HUMAN
CAPITAL
Emphasizing that the protocol signed with Selçuk University represents a strong example of university–industry collaboration, Eksun Gıda Group Chairman and CEO Hasan Abdullah Özkan stated: “This protocol we have signed aims not only at joint R&D, innovation, and technology development by the two institutions, but also at contributing a well-trained workforce to the sector. The development of industry becomes possible not only through technology investments, but also through human resources capable of understanding, managing, and transforming that technology. Our strategic collaboration with Selçuk University also offers important opportunities for young engineering candidates to enhance their competencies, take part in hands-on projects, and experience real production processes.”
