Wouter Lox
With more than 30 years of professional experience in Brussels, Wouter Lox expressed his gratitude to the FEDIMA family for their warm welcome following his appointment and shared the following remarks:
“After so many years working in Brussels, I remain inspired by the unique role associations play. They are not just part of the so-called ‘Brussels bubble,’ but serve as a bridge between the political world and industry. We create a genuine space for dialogue—often among very different perspectives—which is exactly what makes it so enriching. At FEDIMA, I look forward to further strengthening that bridge and amplifying our sector’s voice by promoting innovation, sustainability, and food safety.”
FEDIMA represents more than 13 national associations and over 200 companies across Europe. The organization works to support the sustainable growth of the bakery and pastry ingredients industry, enhance food safety standards, and guide the sector’s future through innovative solutions.
Under the leadership of the new Secretary-General Wouter Lox, FEDIMA is expected to further advance its efforts in collaboration, quality, and sustainability across the European food industry.
